I'd just like to wish everyone a great day today - It's St. George's Day.

St. George is the Patron Saint of England, and not everyone remembers him as well as they should, so I'm trying to do my little bit for the cause.

So why not raise a glass and make a toast to the great man? I know I am. Cheers!! 

So there I was shopping in Leicester's Fosse Park retail shopping centre and I stumbled upon an advert for a Wedding show at Boots the Chemist. I enquired some more and now I'm going to have a small stand alongside other wedding planners, DJ's, cake makers etc.

I've just updated my commsions gallery with two versions of the same poem - "What is Dying?" by Bishop Brent.

It's a lovely poem which would help many people in bereavement and was commissioned from me to memorialise a customer's mum.

What is dying?
A ship sails and I stand watching till she fades on the horizon
and someone at my side says,
"She is gone".
Gone where?
Gone from my sight, that is all;
she is just as large as when I saw her...
The diminished size and total of sight is in me, not in her,
and just as the moment when someone at my side said
"she is gone", there are others watching her coming,
and other voices take up a glad shout,
"there she comes!"...
and that is dying.
