I am incredibly excited to share some wonderful news with all of you! I am now officially a member of The Guild of Master Craftsmen, a prestigious recognition that highlights the quality and dedication to my work in calligraphy.

Since starting my journey in 2011, calligraphy has become my true passion. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of creating beautiful, handcrafted pieces for so many of you—whether it’s bespoke wedding invitations, personalized gifts, or artwork. This recognition from The Guild of Master Craftsmen is such an honor and a testament to the care, precision, and craftsmanship I put into each piece I create.

Becoming a member of The Guild reflects my commitment to maintaining the highest standards in my work and ensuring that each project is executed with the utmost attention to detail. It’s a wonderful affirmation of the hard work and love I pour into my art, and I am deeply grateful for this acknowledgment.

How I started… During the festive season, there’s nothing quite like finding those perfect little surprises to fill up Christmas stockings. Back in 2010, our class embarked on a special project, and I needed to come up with another handmade gift that would bring as much joy as the beloved calendar. That’s when inspiration struck – I already had a cat design made up of words and phrases – why not use it for packs of notelets?

After countless cards, envelopes, and cellophane bags, I decided to venture into creating new designs that would delight not only myself but also many others. And so, together with my husband Nick, we founded Calligraphy Arts, specializing in calligraphy dip pens and bespoke artwork. Our unique greeting cards showcase a wide range of designs, from Cats, Dogs, Doves, Paws, and Hearts, to Eternal and Celtic Love Knots. For the rock enthusiasts among you, we have Guitars, Choppers, Motorcycles, Ace of Spades, and Skull & Crossbones. And for the adventurers, we even have campervans, cars, and steam engines! But rest assured, there are plenty more exciting ideas on the horizon.
