Terms and Services

Calligraphy Arts welcomes interest from wholesalers, retail outlets and businesses.

All images on the Calligraphy Arts website are protected by Copyright. The images shown are reduced in quality when compared to the actual artwork and greeting cards. Please note that variations in colour may occur, but please be aware that differences in computer monitors can show variations in colour more than the quality of our printing processes.

Cards are supplied in two sizes - Large A5 (14.8cm x 21.0cm) or Standard A6 (10.5 cm x 14.8cm). Choices and price options are at each shopping page.

Any bespoke commissions and artworks will obviously take longer to produce. All timescales and prices for items such as these will be agreed between the customer and Calligraphy Arts before any work commences.

If you have any suggestions, comments or feedback about how we can improve our service, or if you have specific requirements, please get in touch with us.

Returns Policy

Under the Distance Selling Regulations private purchasers have the right to cancel the order up to 14 days after receipt of items if the items have not been used. This does not apply to items made to a purchasers own specification eg: personalised cards, bespoke artwork etc.

Consumer Rights

Distance Selling Regulations apply to Internet, mail order and telephone shopping - which links to the Which website. Also see this information from the EU Website

You have a right to cancel your order or service

You may cancel your order from the moment you made it up to 14 days after receiving it. Cancellation of any orders and services must be made by letter, or email. A telephone call for cancellation is not enough. It is the customers duty to take full care of all items.

Returning of items is the responsibility of the customer who is liable for the cost of returns. The customer must ensure all reasonable care is taken to ensure the safe return of items and in their original packaging where appropriate. Any failure to return at the customer's expense (except where the items are faulty or do not comply with the contract) means that Calligraphy Arts will recover the items and offset the amount against any refund due. If the items are faulty at receipt or do not comply with your contract with contract Calligraphy Arts, then we will be liable for any return charges.

Refunds for returned and cancelled orders will be made as soon as possible and within 30 days of return to Calligraphy Arts - this will include our basic delivery costs. If you opted for enhanced services, such as Tracked or Next Day services, then we will only be liable for the cheapest delivery option offered at the time of the order.

The Distance Selling Regulations do not apply to Business purchases.

When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason.
