Well, what can I say?? I’ve just handed over the finished artwork, for the Diamond Jubilee Royal Visit, to the Canon of Leicester today and everyone at St Martin’s House loves it! I’m so excited now as we’ve been allowed to be present at the signing of our “guest book”. So it’s off to the hair dressers for me and a new suit for Nick… In any case the artwork is going to be framed and then displayed in Leicester Cathedral from Friday 9th March until, well, forever I suppose.

The style of the artwork was chosen by the Diocese as it was felt that it matched the “Arts & Crafts” movement that is upheld throughout the more modern places of the Cathedral, with the complete piece being framed in light oak, before being hung in the Cathedral for everyone to view.

Count the diamonds… a total of 60 of course.
